Is OPALE self-custody?
Section titled “Is OPALE self-custody?”No. OPALE is custodial — your wallet’s keys live on OPALE’s servers, encrypted. You can reveal your recovery phrase any time from 💰 Wallet → 🔑 Export Private Key, and with it you can recover your funds in any standard Bitcoin wallet (Sparrow, Electrum, hardware wallets, etc.). What’s the trading fee?
Section titled “What’s the trading fee?”A flat 5 % on 🛒 Buy and 🧹 Sweep floor. Nothing on 🏷️ Sell, 📨 Send Tokens or 📨 Send BTC. See trading fee.
Which tokens can I trade?
Section titled “Which tokens can I trade?”Anything Universal Protocol-based and listed on the WhiteNode marketplace. Notable: $LOL, $WTF, $OPQT, $PROMPT. Plus a long tail of ~170 smaller tokens. No curation by OPALE. See supported tokens.
Is this Ordinals BRC-20?
Section titled “Is this Ordinals BRC-20?”No. Universal Protocol BRC-20 is a different ecosystem from Ordinals BRC-20 (the kind UniSat / OKX / Magic Eden index). Don’t try to send Ordinals BRC-20 to OPALE — it won’t be recognised.
Why did my trade fail?
Section titled “Why did my trade fail?”Most common reasons:
- “No listings within cap” — your max unit price is below every available listing. Raise the cap.
- “Insufficient balance” — your BTC is below the trade total + fees. Top up via deposit.
- Lost the race — another buyer got the listing first; OPALE retries up to 3× before closing the order. See price caps & races.

Can I recover funds sent to the wrong address?
Section titled “Can I recover funds sent to the wrong address?”Funds sent outside OPALE to a wrong address are not recoverable — Bitcoin transfers are irreversible. Always copy the deposit address fresh from 💰 Wallet.
How long do deposits take?
Section titled “How long do deposits take?”Native BTC deposits credit after 1 confirmation — typically 10–30 minutes depending on Bitcoin network conditions. Cross-chain deposits via Relay take longer because they involve the source-chain bridge plus the BTC confirmation.
Is there a referral program?
Section titled “Is there a referral program?”Yes — tap 🎁 Referral to create a custom code. Earn 35 / 30 / 25 % of OPALE’s 5 % operator fee depending on tier (early codes earn more). Minimum claim $2 USD equivalent in BTC. See referrals.
What happens if I lose access to my Telegram?
Section titled “What happens if I lose access to my Telegram?”Your OPALE account is tied to your Telegram account, so losing Telegram is bad news. The mitigation is to reveal your recovery phrase from 💰 Wallet before that ever happens — with the phrase, you can recover your funds in any other Bitcoin wallet, regardless of what happens to your Telegram or your OPALE account. If you didn’t, contact support and we’ll do what we can based on what you can prove about the account.
Does OPALE charge anything on sells?
Section titled “Does OPALE charge anything on sells?”No. You pay only the Bitcoin network fee for the listing transaction.
Are there per-day withdrawal limits?
Section titled “Are there per-day withdrawal limits?”No, OPALE doesn’t enforce one. 📨 Send BTC sweeps your full BTC balance. If you want stricter controls, reveal your recovery phrase and use a hardware wallet for cold storage.
Is there an order history?
Section titled “Is there an order history?”Yes — tap 📊 Activity for executed transactions (live or past) and 📋 Orders for pending limit orders. The split is intentional — see activity & history.
Does the bot do P&L?
Section titled “Does the bot do P&L?”Not today. 💰 Wallet shows your current balances, 📊 Activity shows your trade history. P&L isn’t aggregated for you — each receipt has the data, but OPALE doesn’t compute it as a single number.
