Send tokens
📨 Send Tokens transfers Universal Protocol tokens (e.g. $LOL, $WTF) to any Bitcoin address. It’s a direct token transfer — no marketplace, no operator fee, just a Bitcoin transaction the indexers recognize as a transfer.
To withdraw BTC instead, see withdraw BTC.

Send to the recipient’s Bitcoin address — Universal tokens travel on Bitcoin L1 with the address as the destination, the same way BTC does.
Pre-flight checks
Section titled “Pre-flight checks”Before you can confirm, OPALE verifies:
- You hold enough of the token you’re sending.
- You have enough BTC to cover the small postage carried by the transfer plus the network fee. If not, OPALE blocks the transfer and points you to top up.
Why it’s free of OPALE fees
Section titled “Why it’s free of OPALE fees”📨 Send Tokens doesn’t touch the marketplace — there’s no listing, no buyer, no transaction to rebuild. OPALE just builds a regular Universal token transfer and signs it on your behalf. The only costs are the Bitcoin network fee and the small postage that goes to the recipient (not to OPALE).
Common issues
Section titled “Common issues”- “Insufficient token balance” — lower the amount or wait for any in-flight buys to credit.
- “Insufficient BTC for fees” — you have the tokens but not enough BTC for postage + network fee. Top up via deposit.
- “Invalid address” — destination didn’t parse as a Bitcoin address.
