OPALE is a button-driven bot. Most users never type commands — every action is reachable from the home screen as a tap, with confirmations on every destructive step.
The commands and shortcuts on this page are for power users who want to skip the menus. If you’re new, the quickstart walks through the button flows; come back here when typing is faster.

OPALE recognizes free-text shortcuts that skip the menus and go straight to the quote screen. Each one still has a Confirm/Cancel screen — typing the shortcut just bypasses the picker steps.

The @ is what tells the router this is a limit order. For sweep, the budget should include its currency: $100, 100$, 0.001btc, or 1000000sats. A bare 100 is read as $100 and a small-fraction 0.001 is read as BTC, but the button flow has explicit 💵 / ⚡ / 🟠 currency buttons that take all guessing out.
- Case-insensitive.
/Buy, /BUY, /buy all work. Tickers can be lower- or upper-case.
- Buttons match commands. Every command has a button equivalent on the home screen or wallet. Type if it’s faster, tap otherwise.
- Permanent receipts. Buy/sell/sweep/send/withdraw outcomes leave a permanent message in chat. Tap ❌ Close if you want to clear one.
